Tesla: Official “Car Partner” of the Gonet Geneva Open

The Gonet Geneva Open is delighted to be able to rely on a new partnership: Tesla will provide the official cars for the biggest tennis tournament organized in the French speaking part of Switzerland which will take place from May 15 to 22.

The Gonet Geneva Open is delighted to welcome the No. 1 electric car manufacturer. This partnership with the Geneva branch of such a strong brand in the automobile industry underlines once again the increasingly strong anchoring of the event in the regional economic fabric.

The presence of Tesla is also perfectly in line with the approach of the Gonet Geneva Open: to be exemplary on all environmental aspects that the event faces. The beauty of the Parc des Eaux-Vives also constantly reminds us of this.

 Tesla

Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the global transition to a sustainable energy future.

Tesla was founded in 2003 by a group of engineers who wanted to prove that it was possible to drive an electric car without making compromises – that electric cars could be more efficient, faster and more fun to drive than conventional combustion cars. Today, Tesla is not only building 100% electric cars, but also scalable next-generation energy generation and storage solutions.

For Tesla, the sooner humanity moves away from fossil fuels to renewable energy, the better off the world will be. Tesla has been present in Geneva since 2015, with a downtown store, a service center and a delivery center.
