The men’s doubles final went to the French duo Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul, who defeated the pair formed by Uruguayan Ariel Behar and Belgian Joran Vliegen 6-7 (4/7) 6-4 11/9. This fifth title on the Tour for the two Toulousains is nothing short of a miracle, as they saved three consecutive match points in the Super tie-break. They had also saved a match point in their first-round match against Mexican Santiago Gonzalez and American Austin Krajicek. They are the first French players to have their names engraved on the doubles winners’ list of the Gonet Geneva Open.
