Novak Djokovic – the most decorated male tennis player in history – returns to the Gonet Geneva Open
The record holding tennis champion, with 24 Grand Slam titles and a Gold Medal won at the 2024 Paris Olympics, accepted the organisers’ wild card.
A semi-finalist at last year’s tournament, Novak Djokovic has chosen Geneva and the Parc des Eaux-Vives ahead of the French Open. In 2024, he enjoyed the setting and atmosphere of the Gonet Geneva Open to fine tune his clay-court preparations. There is always a strong, loyal and passionate welcome from fans and the tennis audience.
Last year’s week in Geneva was the foundation to great results in Paris. Novak won all ten of his matches at the French Open and Paris Olympics, conquering the gold medal.
Novak is joined in Geneva by Taylor Fritz (ATP 4) and Casper Ruud (ATP 7). The 2025 edition of the Gonet Geneva Open will boast the presence of three top ten players and shaping up to be one of the most competitive ATP 250 tournaments of the year.
For its tenth anniversary, with Novak in attendance, the Gonet Geneva Open is gearing up for an extraordinary week!
